A good film with action never seen before in the Mexican screen
Ver, Oir y Callar is an action movie that breaks the rules in Mexican cinema, the director dared to go in a territory which in México belongs only to foreign films. The action sequences remember those of Sam Peckinpah, Ringo Lam and John Woo, the setting is so well calculated and with such a good cinematography that you wonder why do they make in Mexico always those bad films with lots of cheap nudes and lousy stories. The plot is not necessarily new, with a cop being used by a corrupt congressman whom recruits the services of a professional thief to gain his freedom, but who cares if the whole is interesting and fun to watch. Unfortunately this movie suffered a tide of unfair and misguiding attacks by TV Azteca and associates, the second mayor TV network in México due to their prior problems with Mauricio Ochmann (Danilo) whom worked before for them. The only thing I would change are some scenes at the beginning by shortening them to increase the rhythm of the film, the music is great and also different from what is always used in Mexico. I am glad that this director had the guts to do something daring and fresh for a change.
