Storyline

The automation engineer Alain Getty and his beloved wife Bénédicte have just moved to the suburb of Bel-Air. Alain has developed the prototype of a flying web-cam for Pollock S.A., a high-tech company. After a successful presentation of his project to their clients, Alain invites his boss Richard Pollock and his wife Alice for dinner at his home. The couple arrives late, and Alice is extremely rude, insulting her husband and the young couple, and forcing Richard to leave the house earlier. During the night, Alain finds a rare Scandinavian lemming stuck in the siphon of the sink in the kitchen. On the next night, Alice unsuccessfully tries to seduce Alain after-hours in the laboratory of the company. Very Annoying Movie!
20 April 2014 | by (Austria) – See all my reviews

So first of all the things i liked about this movie. The actors are great in my opinion and the story holds quite a lot of promise.

But what i absolutely hated about this movie is that the protagonists never react to events the way one would expect or ask the questions one would. That doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing but in this instance it is, at least to me. They just seem to quietly accept whats happening which leaves you unsatisfied and annoyed pretty soon up to a point where you would like to punch 'em through your television for staying so passive and not asking the questions you'd have wanted answered.

Don't get me wrong, I really like many weird and slow paced movies but this one really gets on my nerves. I can only suspect that it was intended to be like that. The story make sense to me and I also liked the ending but for me you'd have to be a very patient person to suffer through this tedious and unsatisfying movie.
