When Nickelodeon first launched in 1977, it seemed like little more than a child's answer to Saturday Night Live and MTV. In fact, it wasn't until Nickelodeon debuted the Canadian sketch series You Can't Do That on Television in the U.S. that this nascent network began to gain real traction amongst fans of all ages. Before too long, the basic cable channel became quite popular, especially with the launch of it's Nick At Nite line-up featuring such "classic" shows as Alf, The Facts of Life, Growing Pains and many others throughout the years. Viewership certainly proceeded to explode, turning it into one of today's favorite hubs for nostalgia of all kinds.
Nickelodeon had officially arrived in the 1990s, taking its signature brand to the big screen with Nickelodeon Movies in 1995. It wasn't until 1997, though, that this film division made its most iconic and beloved movie of all time: Good Burger. »

Note: Do not read on if you have not yet seen Season 6, Episode 8 of AMC's "Mad Men," titled "The Crash."
This week's extra trippy "Mad Men" saw an intruder not only in Don Draper's apartment (hey, Grandma Ida!), but another in his office.
The mysterious Wendy (Alexa Nikolas) showed up at Sdpcgc and with everyone high on speed serum, started doing psychic "readings" with three coins. When she asked Don for a question, she told the very confused and very sweaty ad man that he "can just think of it" without saying it aloud.
Seemingly minutes later -- though time flies when you've had speed serum injected into your gluteus -- Don walked into his office and Wendy was there on his couch. "You want to get it on?" she asked, noting she was there "to make [him] feel better." (You can watch the scene above.)
Though Don rejected her, Peggy »

Directed by Josh Schwartz.
Wren's Halloween plans go awry when she's made to babysit her brother, who disappears into a sea of trick-or-treaters. With her best friend and two nerds at her side, she needs to find her brother before her mom finds out he's missing.
Fun Size is a Nickelodeon movie starring Victoria Justice. Justice has made a name for herself starring in kid friendly shows like Zoey 101 and Victorious. Now she gets a lead role in a feature film that feels like a made-for-tv movie. One has to wonder why this movie made it to the big screen when it could have easily performed much better as a Friday night movie on Nickelodeon.
While Fun Size isn't all completely bad, there's nothing »

After three episodes, The Carrie Diaries hasn’t been the huge ratings success we (and the CW) had hoped for a series of its Sex and the City pedigree, but we’re holding out hope that more people who like fashion and cute boys and New York City and all the things that are good in life will catch on soon. Regardless of how well the show does, we’re pretty sure its stars, particularly AnnaSophia Robb (Carrie) and Austin Butler (her mysterious love interest, Sebastian Kydd) are destined for big things.
Butler, 21, has been in the biz for ages now, first guest-starring on shows like Hannah Montana and Zoey 101 before landing a role in the High School Musical spin-off Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure and a recurring part on Switched at Birth. But yeah, playing the new guy with the alluring whiff of bad boy on Carrie Diaries is »
