Quotes

Spyro: What do you want this time, Ripto?
Gulp: Yeah, what do we want this time, boss?
Ripto: You're not hired for your brains, you dinosaurian landmass. Keep quiet or I'll put you back where I found you, unemployed in Molten Crater, begging for work from Gnasty Gnorc.

Horrid game
6 October 2005 | by See all my reviews

As a lover of the spyro games. I have to protest heavily against this game.

When I started playing the game, I became increasingly frustrated. The game would lag because of all the spiffy new graphics that the PS2 just couldn't halde. So the game was choking, a lot. But the main-character in this game is not moving properly. He's slow and sluggish. And does not command well. Not nearly as agile as in the previous games.

The Previous Spyro games had excellent gameplay. I suggest that you don't waste any money on this game. This is the worst takeover baby in the history of gaming. Merely because of this game, I have refused to purchase the 5th Spyro game, "Hero's tail". If the standards of this games series have dropped so seriously. I recommend that you try before you buy.
