The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

When the Inquisitor has three people hung upside-down, you can see the breast of one woman.

Izzi is nude in the bathtub for a few minutes, but we only see shoulders, knees, back, etc. Moments later, Tom (dressed) kisses her while she's in the bath. She then pulls him down with her in the tub and they sensually kiss; her breast and nipple are briefly visible. They start to kiss and caress each other while he's on top of her. He then takes off his shirt, the camera pans outs. We see them kissing from afar sensually.

Violence & Gore

Spaniards and Ancient Mayans sight. Spears pierce the Spaniards and Mayans are bludgeoned and slashed .

Thomas is stabbed by a Mayan priest, blood oozes. Thomas slashes a willing Mayan's neck. The inquisitor self-flagellates and it shows bloody wounds.

The inquisitor hangs people upside down (we see them bloodied and injured). The prisoners are then dropped.

Profanity

The language in this movie is quite mild, aside from only two or three strong profanities.

None.

Vivisection of a baboon's head. There is also a scene in the hopsital that is very intense. Plants grow out of a man's body while he is alive. He furiously rips them out but they grow faster and come out of his mouth until you no longer see him.
