Business News for the real world
silverado111125 December 2004
This show covers the business people who are the backbone of America. No Fortune 500 ego maniacs. Doug Llewlyn interviews innovators who are in the trenches trying to make it in America. William Shatner bookends the show with intros of the companies. The rest of the anchors are kind of superfluous. The producers have put together a full news broadcast that features the history of the firm complete with plenty of location footage. Doug Llewlyn keeps the pace moving. The timing is interesting also, cause it airs on Goodlife at 9am est. If you think about it that's right before the bell rings on the NYSE. I wonder if the producers are trying to platform the profiled companies for greater things? Overall it's a decent show, that's really bringing to light the smaller firms who historically have made the biggest difference in changing an economy. Like Sunday morning paper profile piece.
