Old bollywood movie with beautiful songs
17 September 2011 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I saw the movie as a teenager. The movie was released in 1961. It was a black & white movie with two good heroines of the old era : Suraiya and Nimmi. I can still recall the movie since it had beautiful songs. The songs still haunt me though it is approx fifty years old. The songs were very well sung by Suman Kalyanpur and Suraiya herself. What good voices. The movie was well acted by Nimmi and Suraiya. The story line was nothing exciting. This is reason it was not successful. But worth watching because of the beautiful songs and the two gorgeous ladies : Suraiya and Nimmi. I would like to watch it again. Is it available on DVD. ?
