Luocha's arrival to Honkai: Star Rail brings a new healer character build to the roster. He is the third character of the Abundance path to join the game's lineup, beginning with Natasha and Bailu from the launch. He also helps expand the count of Imaginary characters from one to three with the help of newcomer Yukong. He provides a unique approach to healing that requires specific builds to work effectively.
Luocha is a Honkai: Star Rail healer who scales off Atk and supports combat through his Abyss Flowers. Abyss Flowers are created through his Skill and Ulitmate. His Skill can automatically restore Hp when a party member falls below 50%, and his Ultimate removes buffs. If Luocha can get two stacks of Abyss Flower, he'll create a Field that restores Hp when a character...

An Echo of War is a type of combat mode in Honkai: Star Rail that allows players to reenact their biggest boss battles. Genshin Impact fans will recognize this as the same mechanic seen in Trounce Domains, where boss battles from the Archon Quests can be replayed for materials. In Honkai: Star Rail, the boss battles come from the Trailblaze Missions in different worlds.
As of launch, there are two different Echos of War for players to dive through. The first, Destruction's Beginning, recreates the battle against the Doomsday Beast in Honkai: Star Rail. The second Echo of War, End of the Eternal Freeze, lets players fight Cocolia, Mother of Deception, again and again. Both provide important Trace materials.
Requirements For Unlocking Echoes of War
Even though players fight the Doomsday Beast early on in Honkai: Star Rail, they won't immediately unlock its Echo of War mode. Instead, they will...

Baliu's cute dragon-like design has made many Honkai: Star Rail fans obsess over collecting her and figuring out her best character build. Bailu is a 5-Star Lightning character of the Abundance path. She is known as "Healer Lady" to those she treats and is one of two healer units available with the game's launch.
Bailu's kit works around a condition called Invigoration. Her Talent states that when a character with Invigoration is hit, they heal for a percentage of Baliu's Max Hp with an extra bonus. Once per battle, Bailu can save an ally from getting knocked out, restoring a massive amount of their Hp. This makes Bailu one of the best Support characters in Honkai: Star Rail. Her build needs to take advantage of this incredible Talent.
Best Light Cones For Bailu
All characters in Honkai: Star Rail have at least one Light Cone holding a memory of theirs.

Nick Stahl has been cast in Showtime’s upcoming elevated drama genre series “Let the Right One In.” Stahl joins previously announced castmates Demián Bichir, Anika Noni Rose, Grace Gummer, Madison Taylor Baez, Kevin Carroll, Ian Foreman and Jacob Buster on the series.
“Let the Right One In” is inspired by the original Swedish novel and romantic horror film of the same name, dealing with the themes of human frailty, strength and compassion. The show centers on Mark (Bichir) and his daughter Eleanor (Baez), whose lives were changed forever when she was turned into a vampire a decade ago. Eleanor lives a closed-in life, able to go out only at night, while her father does his best to provide her with the bloody sustenance she needs in order to survive. In the show, Stahl will play the character Matthew, described as a soldier and fiercely loyal fixer for the Logan family,...

Judge Grove is back!
I've missed his sardonic comments, insistence on proper procedure, and surprising flashes of empathy.
He returned as part of a smartly executed, high-concept story on Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 16, and I couldn't be more thrilled.
Between an unusual format, an interesting story and Judge Grove's trademark sarcasm, "Quid Pro Quo" had a lot to offer.
But before getting to all that, there's a burning question I have to ask: What was Amy thinking, getting involved with Mark Hickman again?
Mark Hickman first appeared on Major Crimes Season 4 Episode 19. He was obnoxious, untrustworthy, and caused Amy a boatload of trouble because she kept sneaking off to meet him despite orders from Sharon to stay away from him.
So why, exactly, did she think this time would be any different?
Hobbs: It doesn't matter that you were cleared, Amy. No matter what he instructs the jury, they won't forget.

Will Louis be able to get back on Tara's good side?
That's certainly one of the bigger questions after Suits Season 6 Episode 15. Louis did not want his relationship to be full of secrets because that does not make for a rock-solid foundation.
It was perfectly understandable that he would want to come clean, but I don't think his chat with Rachel was worthwhile. Louis has been with Tara for, like, five minutes.
Rachel and Mike's relationship had been going on for considerably longer, so whatever Rachel said was never going to mirror the outcome she got.
Louis and Tara rushed together and that's probably why their relationship is more likely to implode than others. They don't know much about each other, and that's not a good thing.
Tara was completely right to storm off after Louis called her out for being with two men at once. The difference here is...

Up until this episode titled "Quid Pro Quo," everything appeared to be falling apart for Mike on Suits. Interestingly enough, that's also when things seem to be coming together.
Mike is met with a visitor, Stamos, who wants to discuss his case. But he's not happy when Mike lets him know that Harvey is representing him too. He gets even more upset when he finds out they were offered and turned down a $100 million deal. He immediately wants Mike to take the offer, but Mike tells him to be patient. Stamos gives him two days to make the $100 million into more or he'll settle.

Part 1 The case. The players. An FBI "errand"

It's hard to think of a movie less suitable for Valentine's Day than "The Silence of the Lambs."
Yet that's the day the unforgettable thriller debuted 25 years ago, on February 14, 1991. The creepy, gory adaptation of Thomas Harris's bestseller was an enormous hit, made an enduring pop culture figure of sophisticated flesh-eater Hannibal Lecter, transformed Anthony Hopkins into a star, and became only the third (and so far, the last) movie to win the top five Oscars -- Best Picture, Director, Actress, Actor, and Screenplay.
As many times as you've seen Hopkins's Lecter casually mention how well human liver goes with fava beans and a nice Chianti, there's still much you may not know about "Silence." Quid pro quo -- we'll reveal the movie's secrets, if you read on.
1. Hopkins wasn't the first actor to play Hannibal Lecter; that honor went to Brian Cox (above), in Michael Mann's 1986 "Manhunter,...

Constantine, Season 1, Episodes 11 to 13
Airs Friday at 8 Pm Et on NBC
Just in time for its first season finale, Constantine develops both its side characters, like Manny the once annoying angel (Harold Perrineau), who is the real star of the penultimate episode “Angels and Ministers of Grace”, and Jim Corrigan (Emmet Scanlan), who plays a big role in the finale and main cast. The writers finally get to show John Constantine’s (Matt Ryan) smoking habit, and continue to look into his mix of passive and active responses to the Rising Darkness, and have Zed (Angelica Celaya) struggle with her visions in a physical and spiritual way while building friendships with Corrigan and Manny.
However, for all its character growth and exploration, Constantine is pretty content with being a case of the week supernatural show, with minimal connective tissue between the episodes, even if the finale does pull a couple...

An old friend from the Newcastle Crew returns to Constantine this week, leading to an effectively creepy episode...
This review contains spoilers.
1.11 A Whole World Out There
There’s sure to be drama when members of the Newcastle Crew come out on Constantine. A Whole World Out There ditches usual sidekicks Zed and Chas in favor of John’s old friend Ritchie Simpson, a computer genius who appeared in the pilot episode. In Hellblazer, Ritchie is able to insert his consciousness into a computer; in the TV show, he proves himself able to control alternate dimensions with his mind. His success at this is both empowering and chilling.
Ritchie is a professor at Ivy University, and using Ritchie’s research, four of his students become entangled in a universe created by Jacob Shaw, a dead mystic whose consciousness lives on in his own personal world. Shaw hunts the students in his world,...

Charles Halford's Chas Chandler receives some welcome character development in this week's episode of Constantine...
This review contains spoilers.
1.10 Quid Pro Quo
There’s a new hero in town, and his name is Chas Chandler. The mild-mannered cab driver has thus far been somewhat lacking in personality, but Quid Pro Quo rectifies that by giving Chas both a backstory and a chance to take charge.
I was mistaken last week when I said this wasn’t a Hellblazer story. It’s loosely based on the straight-to-graphic-novel book All His Engines (which I have not read, unfortunately). In the Constantine version of the story, dozens of people in Brooklyn are falling into mysterious comas, and one of the victims is Chas’ daughter Geraldine. Chas enlists Constantine’s help, against the wishes of his ex-wife Renee (who is a lot hotter and less irritating here than in the comics; on the flip side,...

Constantine, Season 1, Episode 10, “Quid Pro Quo”
Written by Brian Anthony
Directed by Mary Harron
Airs Fridays at 8pm (Et) on NBC
Throughout Constantine‘s first season, Chas Chandler (Charles Halford) has been an enigmatic and sadly underused figure. He plays the voice of reason and comfort to the amoral, twice or thrice damned Constantine (Matt Ryan) and has saved him many times with his special, unexplained powers. Using some carefully selected flashbacks joined to the main narrative with the recurring image of a flame, “Quid Pro Quo” reveals why Chas seemingly can’t die, why he is friends with a man who makes him pick up his bar tab 10 out of 10 times, and explores Chas’ strained relationship with his ex-wife Renee (Amanda Clayton) and daughter Geraldine. Writer Brian Anthony also introduces legendary DC Comics villain Felix Faust (played by a chilling Mark Margolis) a “second fiddle” magician who acts as...

A review of tonight's "Hannibal" coming up just as soon as it sounds like I'm unemployed... "Hannibal" is 2-for-2 in season 2 so far, with an episode featuring horror, suspense, theology, more homages to classic Hannibal Lecter scenes and Will Graham quoting "Sesame Street" lyrics. Can't beat that with a stick. In lieu of the shocking, thrilling Jack/Hannibal fight sequence that opened the premiere, "Sakizuke" gives us one of the show's most terrifying and graphic sequences to date, as poor Roland Umber — a man with color in his name even before he became victim of a man building a human color wheel — frees himself from the corpse-eye in the swiftest, nastiest method available before dying in his attempted escape. (Hands up, anyone who would not have risked the cliff jump under those circumstances.) The FBI's investigation pushes the Hannibal/Will role reversal even further. We get to see a beautiful...

As much as there was nothing technically wrong with tonight's Blue Bloods, there was nothing stellar about "Quid Pro Quo" either as I found it to be one of the most boring episodes of the season.
Erin and Danny teamed up to try and solve a cold case after the murder victim's father implored Erin for help. As much as I applauded their persistence, the investigation felt flawed at many turns.
It was hard to believe that a company would keep 15 year old signature manifests on file. Having Erin do her own undercover work should have had some sense of danger to it but I never felt she was in any peril.
Then, having she and Danny hunt down their suspected killer together leaving Erin as his only armed backup seemed silly. Yes, as an Ada I'm sure she might carry a gun and as a Reagan I'm positive she'd...

For your consideration: Javier Bardem for Best Supporting Actor, Skyfall.
Silva, the latest Bond film’s sexually ambiguous cyberterrorist, would be a punchline in any other actor’s hands. Instead, Bardem brings an improbable blend of over-the-top flamboyance and restrained calculation to his character. It’s the sort of cinematic tour de force that we’ve seen before not only from Bardem himself (in his Oscar-winning 2007 role as No Country for Old Men’s amoral assassin Anton Chigurh), but also in a select few actors who have managed to take commercial villainy all the way to Hollywood’s biggest night.

Supermarket giant Coles is backing an Australian tour of legendary British rockets Status Quo.
The Quo featured in a recent Coles ad campaign, in which they performed the band’s famous ‘Down, deeper and down’ track wearing the big red hands that now typify Coles advertising.
The tour – which will feature Coles branding – coincides with the release of a new album, Quid Pro Quo, which will be exclusively sold in Coles. The album will include the new re-recorded version of Down Down that features in the Coles ad.
A press release reads:
Having made a welcome return to homes and supermarket aisles across Australia with the big red hand and their re-recording of their classic Down Down for Coles, Chugg Entertainment and Coles are today thrilled to confirm that British rockers, Status Quo, will be returning to our shores for a national tour in March/April 2013.

Francis Rossi from Status Quo has revealed how much he enjoyed his performance on Coronation Street. Asked if he would like to make another cameo on the Street, Rossi told Holy Soap: "F***ing right! I enjoyed it. It was different, and really good." As del Toro’s At The Mountains Of Madness becomes the latest movie to fall victim to the R rating curse, we have 11 tips to get an R-rated movie past Hollywood studios…
Last week brought the sad news that Guillermo del Toro’s terrific-sounding At The Mountains Of Madness was pretty much on hold, given that Universal had failed to commit to the project. There were two reasons why it held back. Firstly, it was going to cost $150m. Secondly, and more crucially, it was likely to be an R-rated end product.
When studios spend big bucks on a movie, they want a PG-13 in return. And if your project can’t promise that? You might just be in trouble.
However, help is at hand. For any budding moviemakers out there, here are our essential tips to getting a mainstream R-rated movie greenlit at a Hollywood studio.

FX's gem series, "Terriers" is wrapping a great, slow boil of a first season enhanced by the ensemble magic led by Donal Logue (Hank Dolworth). This series takes the languid, noir pacing of "Chinatown" and the effervescent feel of buddy film "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and delivers a retro-tinged TV escape that is like absolutely nothing else on television. You must catch up on free past episodes on Hulu http://www.hulu.com/terriers if you have missed the show so far, so you can enjoy the finale. The last episode, Quid Pro Quo, plugged in many of the missing pieces of the Ocean Beach land grab with Zeitlin & Associates law firm for Hank, and with the help of...

My review of tonight's "Terriers" coming up just as soon as I read your blog on my Kindle... "Dude, my brain is about to shit itself! I don't know what's going on." -Britt "Quid Pro Quo" is a mess, but in a very good way. It features a complicated "Chinatown"-style land grab storyline, leans heavily on things we've learned throughout the season (which is why I made sure to write my Save "Terriers" piece before last week's flashback episode, which was far more accessible to newbies), features Hank's plan going off the rails 16 different ways, and has Britt seeming to...

Winter.S Bone, quite possibly, is one of the top five best films to see in 2010. Based on the novel by Daniel Woodrell, the film is co-written and directed by Debra Granik, a New Yorker who has taken great care in meticulously ensuring an authentic and honest portrayal of the Ozarks region of Missouri, the people and culture and the struggle beset upon the impoverished families.
Jennifer Lawrence (The Burning Plain) plays Ree Dolly, a resourceful and determined 17-year old girl living in the rural Ozarks, caring for her sick mother and two younger siblings. The Dolly family has a history with the law, a reputation Ree wants no part of as she takes care of her family in the absence of her father. Mark went to see Greenberg. Mark had to sit through 29 minutes of adverts and trailers. Mark isn't very happy about it...
If you go down to the cinema to see a film such as Noah Baumbach's typical American indie middle class angst treatise Greenberg, what will you see?
You'll be seeing the usual bunch of middle class self-hating crap about identity and how one totally defines themselves by their Steve Winwood band tour t-shirt, lashings of exposition, a fair chunk of dreamy shots of cars, and nothing else but a desire to hit the cast in the face with a sack of angry electric eels and tell them to get a grip.
Films about middle-aged men in crisis should involve a battle against gods, wrestling bears, and driving fast red cars. In short, you ain't watching Vampire Torturers Vs. The CGI Lizard or I Still Know Who Screamed 300 Times Last April.

Last night marked the start of the second season of Royal Pains and it was interesting to see that we kicked off right where we left off last season!
"Spasticity" had almost everything we love about this show - the only part that was missing was any hints of romance.
One could argue that there were some old sparks flying between Hank and Jill, but we aren't sure just yet! Where in the world did Charlie vanish off to? Do you think that this will be the last we hear/see of him? I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens between these three!
Let's not forget that we still think something is bound to happen between Evan and Divya - even If that kiss last season meant nothing, there is definitely some subconscious chemistry flying around! Now that she is a woman spoken for -...

It’s interesting to see Vera Farmiga’s career blossom in Hollywood. I first saw her on the crime TV show “Uc: Undercover” co-starring alongside Jon Seda, who has since gone to star in HBO’s “The Pacific”. She parlayed that into another fantastic TV crime show, the American remake of “Touching Evil” with current “Burn Notice” star Jeffrey Donovan. But like “Undercover”, the American public didn’t appreciate “Evil”, and it was canceled after only one year. Since then, Farmiga has carved out a fantastic career on the big screen in big-budget Hollywood actioners like “The Departed” and “Running Scared”, as well as low-budget indies you’ve never heard of like “Never Forever” and “Quid Pro Quo”. Her latest is the indie Western “A Thousand Guns”, where she’ll play the wife of a preacher who goes on a journey of revenge. The movie will be directed by Spaniard...

by Terry Keefe
(Currently appearing in this month's Venice Magazine.)
The first time we interviewed actress Vera Farmiga was in early 2001, at Swingers Diner on Beverly, over French fries. It was around 8 in the evening, as she had to spend the day auditioning for a network pilot. She was promoting a supporting role in a relatively forgettable Robert De Niro-Ed Burns cop thriller called Fifteen Minutes, where she played a Eastern European hairdresser who witnesses a murder. Parking was scarce in the neighborhood, to the point that we first met that night while angling for the same spot. Today, things have changed somewhat. We’re meeting at a ridiculously large and posh board room at the Beverly Hilton, which reminds of the one in Network where uber-exec Ned Beatty chews out Peter Finch’s Howard Beale. Valets take care of the cars.

DreamWorks Studios has purchased the original screenplay "Someone in the Dark," written by Richard Blaney and Gregory Small.

Just when you thought you've seen it all (how many times have I started out a post with that?), here comes Silence of the Lambs as a Lego musical! Never has the line "Put the f**king lotion in the basket" sounded so ... sing-songy. If this isn't the greatest piece of viral video you watch today, then you totally deserve to get the hose again. The animation for this was done by Peter Levin, and the original music and lyrics are from Jon and Al Kaplan, who actually pieced together nine full tracks for what they call Silence! -- some of which were created for a performance at the Fringe Festival. (And I realize this video may be a little old, but I've never seen it and if you have, well, watch the damn thing again -- it's that funny.)

One upcoming film sure to raise eyebrows based on concept alone is Burning Bright . In it, a young woman (Briana Evigan) and her autistic brother (Charlie Tahan) find themselves trapped in a house, during a hurricane with a hungry tiger. The man responsible? Blame actor Garrett Dillahunt. "Have you ever driven through the South like, 'Come to Johnny's Rattlesnake Pit!'? He's that guy and he's got a wild animal farm," the actor tells ShockTillYouDrop.com while promoting his upcoming film The Last House on the Left . That's just the set up. Why and how a tiger winds up locked away with Evigan shall remain a mystery for now. Dillahunt, however, said he had a blast on the film. "I like [director] Carlos Brooks, he did Quid Pro Quo . And Briana Evigan,...

It feels completely appropriate in a year of incredible financial turmoil, particularly in the independent film sector, that so many good movies were made about people teetering on the edge of economic extinction. My own list features two such films, without even getting around to "Slumdog Millionaire," "Frozen River" or the small but immensely powerful "Shotgun Stories." Movie stars were feeling the pinch, too: in the semiautobiographical "Jcvd," audiences saw faded action hero Jean-Claude Van Damme resorting to begging his agent for money to pay for his divorce.
Stars, and studios too. Even before the bottom fell out of the economy, Hollywood studios were beginning to shutter their indie divisions; Paramount eliminated Vantage, Warner Brothers closed Picturehouse and Warner Independent and absorbed New Line. It wasn't much better for smaller distributors: David O. Russell's upcoming "Nailed" was in the news all summer because its production kept...

I know I’m at Los Angeles’ American Film Market when, as soon as I get off the plane, I run into Lloyd Kaufman (in a men’s room, no less). The Troma chief serves as the Chairman of the Independent Film and Television Alliance, which runs the Afm. Who better to chair an organization and market dedicated to discovering and promoting movies created outside the studio system than Kaufman?
This November, the Afm unveils over 500 films in dozens of languages for prospective international buyers. They screen the majority of these new motion pictures at seven different screening venues in sunny Santa Monica. The Afm is the proud home for the smaller guys, foreign and art-house features and B- to Z-grade movies. Just about everything stars Michael Madsen, C. Thomas Howell and/or Billy Zane. "I wanted to do something completely original and different that I hadn't seen before," said Carlos Brooks of his feature directorial debut. Though grounded in the traditions of detective fiction and film noir, Brooks' "Quid Pro Quo" is indeed something wholly its own; a film that lives inside those genres' boundaries while carving its own unique place outside them. In the film, Nick Stahl plays Isaac, a paraplegic public radio host who gets an anonymous tip about a guy who tried to bribe a doctor into amputating his leg. Researching the story introduces him to an underground (and evidently authentic) community of "wannabes" who desperately wish to be paralyzed, and to a mysterious blonde named Fiona (Vera Farmiga).
