It is also unknown how long it will be.Sam Raimi has not made any statements about a Director's Cut although Columbia have been known to release extended director's cuts on DVD for other titles in the past including Spider-Man 2.1. If a Director's Cut DVD is ever made of this film it is likely to be called Spider-Man 3.1 and be released to coincide with the threatrical release of Spider-Man 4.
