"Sideline Secrets" follows the story of high-school senior Devon Tyler. With a popular girlfriend, successful parents, plenty of friends, and being at the top of his class and about to graduate, all seems ideal. However underneath it all, all is not what it seems. With the heightened awareness of his sexual identity, the crumbling marriage of his feuding parents, and an overbearing persona of his girlfriend put forth, things couldn't get more difficult...or so he thinks. That is until a new boy enters his life and proves to be the missing key that brings everything together. But it also threatens everything he currently has. Written by
A major time constraint during filming was the fact that Alex Wilson (who plays Brian) was scheduled to leave on exchange to the Czech Republic. In acknowledgment of such, a few scenes, such as the big nightclub scenes, were cheated in terms of Alex's appearances. They were shot individually and then edited into the rest of the scene to make it look as though he was actually present for filming on these days. See more »

This film is about a young man coming out to his family and girlfriend. In an unexpected plot twist, he finds himself and his new gay friends in grave danger.
The plot thrilling and captivating! I was very engaged to the characters, especially Devon and Jenna. When they were investigating the irregularities in the office, I was so worried about them being found out that I shouted out! It's a pity that people judge films by its budget or acting. It's true that the most of the acting is wooden in this film, but don't forget these actors "talents" are not in acting. "Sideline Secrets" is a lot better made, entertaining and exciting than many gay films. I think "Sideline Secrets" deserve a much higher rating.
