Auditions for the film were often held outdoors in an open park. During one of the final castings for the character of Brian, the actors auditioning and the casting crew at hand soon found themselves under a heavy unexpected rainfall. Everyone stuck their ground as the auditions continued on and actors found themselves acting out scenes from soggy wet script selections barely readable through the bleeding ink.
