"Sideline Secrets" follows the story of high-school senior Devon Tyler. With successful parents, a popular girlfriend, plenty of friends, and being at the top of his class and about to graduate, all seems ideal. However underneath the surface, things are not what they seem. With the heightened awareness of his sexual identity, the crumbling marriage of his gruff, unsupportive father and alcoholic mother, and the overbearing persona of his girlfriend, things couldn't get more difficult...or so he thinks. That is until a new boy enters his life and proves to be the missing key that brings everything together. But it also threatens everything he currently has. Written by
Countless ideas were thrown around for the "nightmare" scene involving the characters Devon (James Townsend), Brian (Alex Wilson) and Sean (Jonny Vincent). Some ideas ranged from incorporating demon-like figures into the scene, the usage of fire and water, slide show snapshots, shooting the actors in reverse motion, and more. See more »

Bad Acting, Bad Scenery, Bad Film Quality, but decent storyline
The only redeeming quality of this film is the actual storyline...Otherwise, this movie was terrible. The acting was ridiculously bad, and the set design was cheesy and very tacky. The story was decent, but it was very hard to watch due to all the horrid acting. I wouldn't recommend watching this one...The only redeeming quality of this film was that the actors were somewhat attractive...Especially Ryan Bauer, the man who plays the soap opera star. Some of the editing was well done, but there are continuity errors all over the place...I'm just starting to get sick and tired of watching gay movies that are bad...Can we get a good one soon?
