I love Peter Gabriel's music, so I do not trash this production lightly. The so called "camera work" is a disaster and very poorly shot. Too grainy, to shaky, and unable to center the subjects properly.
All new directors should watch at least 3 Scorsese movies to learn how to tell a story with the camera.
Instead, too many directors think shaky camera moves and bad splicing is somehow stylish. Any production should be able to tell a story on its own merits. Don't make the audience work to understand what you are trying to say.
This is truly awful.
