Haunting
4 July 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I want to see this movie again. So many details. Great to see Jennifer Beals and Lothaire Bluteau. The acting is really, really good. Nothing is over stated. The puppets were dark and shadowy. This movie has a lot of depth and psychological intrigue. The film makers took me on a scary ride. Weird to see Ed Begley Jr. in a movie like this but oddly enough he worked in the part of the cop. His wife "Kathy" (who also wrote the movie) was good but we needed to know more about her. The location was beautiful. Too bad we didn't get to see more of the area. The story was not so very original but it was surprising how quickly they sucked me in, I was really scared for "Laurel" This story was creepy but there was something so very beautiful about it all at the same time.
