Sex & Nudity

Frequent sexual innuendo. Scenes of teenagers making out in cars are not in short supply

Some episodes include older men violating younger women; this may be disturbing for some viewers.

There is talk of rape in some cases the private detectives take on.

Violence & Gore

Crimes are ubiquitous, though mostly there are fights, gang violence, and destruction of property. Some episodes have a solid amount of blood, and a character's mouth is covered in it at one point in time.

Profanity

Mostly mild profanity, such as "ass", "hell", etc. However, every few episodes "b**ch" is used.

Flashback scenes feature teens drinking without consequences. Drug uses is treated with negative consequences, but the police do not appear to "bust" parties as much as justice would be expected to.

One character is unknowingly given GHB.

A mother is an alcoholic and the effects of this are shown clearly.

Some sequences involve a lot of tension. Certain characters are whipped with belts and beaten until they appear unconscious, though this does not happen very often.
