Jim Jarmusch wrote this delicate and tender comedy about an aging Don Juan for Bill Murray. When he receives an anonymous letter telling him that he has a son, he hits the road in a journey through past affairs to find the mother of the child he never knew… or at least to try. Sharon Stone, Frances Conroy, Jessica Lange and Tilda Swinton play the women of his past, Julie Delpy is the frustrated girlfriend tired of his present, and Jeffrey Wright is the would-be sleuth of a next door neighbor who maps out his itinerary.
