Puberty at its Worst

Although this movie is far from perfect, the message it gives to its audience is. Originally part of the ABC Weekend Special, the Adventures of a two minute Werewolf was one of many Saturday morning programs I watched back in the 1980's. On the surface, the subject matter deals with being a werewolf. The hidden message to early teenagers is all about puberty. As you become a werewolf your voice starts to change. You start to grow hair in places that you never had before. Also, your appetite starts to change as you make your transformation. The makeup quality is surprisingly good for a low budget after school movie. Although the acting is sometimes painful to watch, the movie is a delight to re- watch after all these years. The ending alone is classic. That alone is worth the watch.
