Goodman Recovering From Cancer Operation

Dancing With The Stars judge Len Goodman is recovering from surgery to remove a tumour.

The 65 year old has been secretly battling prostate cancer and underwent a procedure to remove the tumour earlier this month.

Goodman, who also serves as judge on the U.K. version of the show, Strictly Come Dancing, discovered he had cancer in March but refused to have the operation until he had finished filming in America in May.

He says, "Doctors felt I wasn't riddled with it and it wasn't so far advanced that it was a life-or-death scenario. No-one at the (network) BBC knows. I didn't want to tell everyone - it's not necessary to blabber (tell) it out to everyone. I've only told half a dozen people."
