Hot Toys has unveiled a batch of promotional images for its 1/6th scale Finn (First Order Stormtrooper version) collectible figure from Star Wars: The Force Awakens; take a look here…

Originally trained since birth to serve the First Order as a Stormtrooper, Fn-2187 was deeply affected by the death of his squad mate and the innocent villagers during the attack of Tuanul on the desert planet Jakku. The skirmish has awakened his conscience and drove him down a different path, one that proved both heroic and dangerous and picking up a new name – Finn.

The highly-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of John Boyega in the film featuring a newly painted head sculpt, a sleek First Order Stormtrooper armor with weather effects and helmet with the iconic blood mark, blaster rifle and blaster pistol, and a hexagonal figure stand with the First Order’s emblem.

For those who are unfamiliar with John Krasinski’s full body of work, he might not seem like the perfect fit for the next person in the long line of actors who have taken on Jack Ryan, but for those who can manage to get The Office out of their minds, it isn’t that strange.

Amazon announced today that a 10-episode season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will be coming to Amazon Prime Video, and if we can put anything together from the original shows on various streaming channels, it should be something that has fans showing up in droves.

The battle to win, and keep, subscribers has been heating up over the last few years, and Amazon has managed not only critical success, but has added greatly to the overall pushing of the envelope. »

Scott Snyder is back on Batman in an "all –star" way! (see what I did there?) as he teams up with two fantastic artist in Veteran John Romita Jr. and upcoming superstar Declan Shalvey. How does it hold up to his previous Batman New 52 run? Well read on to see! Also we get the return of the deadliest man in the world -- Deathstroke -- which was penned by the super talented Christopher Priest.

Story:  Dan Jurgens Art: Stephen Segovia, Art Thibert

Review: Typically I don’t like it when a series keeps changing artist issue to issue, but honestly each illustrator that’s jumped on to Action Comics with Dan Jurgens has been top notch! I’m a huge fan of Tyler Kirkham and Patrick Bircher, and equally a huge fan of Stephen Segovia! And, to be fair, »

Comic-Con 2016: Colony Season 2 Interviews with Sarah Wayne Callies, Josh Holloway & More

11 August 2016 2:04 PM, PDT | DailyDead | See recent DailyDead news »

At the core of USA Network’s Colony lies the big question: to resist or collaborate with the aliens that have taken over the world? At this year’s Comic-Con, I had the opportunity to participate in roundtable press room interviews with the cast and crew of Colony to discuss both sides of the Occupation, what’s to come in season two, and much more.

Colony co-creator / executive producer / writer Carlton Cuse on expanding the show’s world in season two and increasing the sci-fi elements:

Carlton Cuse: The show will be more dystopic in season two. We intentionally tried to steer away from the traditional Blade Runner, rogue level of dystopia. Proxy Snyder was a guy who thought, “I’ll try to leave things as much the same as they were in order to give people the best experiences under this occupation.” It didn’t work out too well for him, »

Coming Distractions: You’ve probably already watched yourself watching the trailer for Tell Me How I Die

What would you do if you could see the moment of your own death? Would you try to change it? Come to terms with your own mortality? Party as if tomorrow might never come? Well, if your immediate answer was “Die anyway, but with my body in a weirdly artistic position,” you might already be a cast member of Tell Me How I Die, a new horror movie that smooshes together Final Destination, Flatliners, and a little bit of Sandra Bullock’s weepy Premonition. (Our condolences, by the way.)

Centering on a bunch of college-age kids who start having prophetic visions of their own deaths after signing up for a drug trial, the film stars Lost’s William Mapother as the doctor overseeing the experiments, along with Virginia Gardner, who, between this and last year’s Michael Bay-produced Project Almanac, has apparently become the go-to gal for setting right »
