Westworld: A Treasure Trove Of New Stuff From HBO's Anticipated New Series

13 hours ago | LatinoReview | See recent LatinoReview news »

Lately I've been hearing murmurs about Westworld. People are saying the new series will be HBO's "next Game Of Thrones." In short, people are getting very hyped about this show and the way it seems to blend genres while being made with the finest quality ingredients. Similar to Game Of Thrones which is equal parts political period drama and sweeping fantastical adventure saga, Westworld is going to combine science fiction and western motifs.

When you look at the team of people attached to Westworld, it's easy to see why HBO may have another massive hit on its hands. From stars like Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Thandie Newton, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, and Jeffrey Wright, to a production team that includes Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight, Interstellar) and J.J. Abrams (Lost, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) the talent involved with the production is truly staggering.

HBO knows there's a large »

The reshoots apparently altered the scoring calendar and Desplat was no longer available for the position, so Disney hired Giacchino to take over the role.
