With The Flash returning for Season 2 next week, there are still several questions fans are awaiting answers for. One of those questions is the fate of Firestorm, a character formed by the merging of Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell). Robbie Amell has confirmed that he will be back on The Flash, but Victor Garber will eventually be transitioning to The CW's midseason series DC's Legends of Tomorrow, airing next spring. Today we have a new Season 2 trailer for The Flash, which reveals that there will be a brand new version of Firestorm in both shows.
The trailer reveals a brief glimpse of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) alongside DC's Legends of Tomorrow character Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh), who is seen wearing a modified version of the Nuclear Man suit worn by Robbie Amell last season. It isn't known when Franz Drameh will appear on The Flash, »
Mama West is coming to The Flash in Season 2. The CW superhero series has cast Candyman actress Vanessa Williams (not to be confused with Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty alum Vanessa Williams) to play the mother of Iris West (Candice Patton) and wife of Joe West (Jesse L. Martin). As Variety reports, no other information regarding Williams’ character has been released, as The Flash producers are keeping details on Mama West under wraps at this time. It’s also unknown in which episode of Season 2 she will make her Flash debut and for how many episodes she will appear in. Williams’ most notable TV role was Maxine on the Showtime series Soul Food, which ran from 2000 to 2004. Her other TV credits include Lincoln Heights, Everybody Hates Chris, and Knight Rider. In addition to Williams as Iris’ mother, The Flash will be welcoming another member of the West family in Season »

Joan Collins in 'The Bitch': Sex tale based on younger sister Jackie Collins' novel. Author Jackie Collins dead at 77: Surprisingly few film and TV adaptations of her bestselling novels Jackie Collins, best known for a series of bestsellers about the dysfunctional sex lives of the rich and famous and for being the younger sister of film and TV star Joan Collins, died of breast cancer on Sept. 19, '15, in Los Angeles. The London-born (Oct. 4, 1937) Collins was 77. Collins' tawdry, female-centered novels – much like those of Danielle Steel and Judith Krantz – were/are immensely popular. According to her website, they have sold more than 500 million copies in 40 countries. And if the increasingly tabloidy BBC is to be believed (nowadays, Wikipedia has become a key source, apparently), every single one of them – 32 in all – appeared on the New York Times' bestseller list. (Collins' own site claims that a mere 30 were included.) Sex »

This video originally ran on March 11, 2015. With Empire's second season premiering this week and our Vulture Remix series in full swing, we're bringing it back. For all of Empire’s many assets — juicy story lines that move at hurricane speed, addictive original music, the force of nature that is Cookie Lyons — Fox’s overnight phenom sadly lacks one ingredient: a grand opening credit sequence (and theme song) that sets the stage for the awesomeness that is to come. Yes, technically, each episode does begin with a five-second musical sting and a flash of the Empire logo. But like too many broadcast-tv dramas today, Empire forgoes the once obligatory opening opus. There are none of the high-fives and hilarity that began every Beverly Hills, 90210; no absurdist animation set to Danny Elfman as with Desperate Housewives. Quite frankly, it’s just not right. So Vulture decided to do something about »
