Comedian Bill Engvall will guest star on an upcoming episode of 'Leverage,' TNT has exclusively confirmed to TV Squad.

In it, Engvall will play a car dealer targeted by the 'Leverage' team because of his involvement in reselling stolen autos on the black market.

The episode is currently slated to air in August.

Engvall was last seen on the small screen in the short-lived TBS sitcom 'The Bill Engvall Show,' which was canceled last September due to poor ratings. Additional TV roles inc lude 'Blue Collar TV,' 'The Jeff Foxworthy Show' and 'Delta.'

'Leverage,' starring Oscar winner Timothy Hutton, returns for its highly anticipated third season with back-to-back episodes Sun., Jun. 20 at 9Pm.

Television writer-producer Hilary Winston has sold a feature pitch to Paramount based on her upcoming book, "My Ex-Boyfriend Wrote a Book About Me."

The "Bridget Jones's Diary"-style story is inspired by Winston's romantic misadventures. When she spotted a novel written by her ex while browsing at a bookstore, she began paging through it only to realize that the "fat-assed girlfriend" he referred to throughout was her.

This book is her response. Only hers, as she is quick to point out, is nonfiction.

Sterling Publishers is scheduled to publish "Ex-Boyfriend" in spring 2011.

Broadway Video is producing the feature, with Hilary Marx running point for the producers. Ashley Brucks will oversee the project for Paramount.

Repped by Icm, Winston is a co-executive producer on the NBC series "Community." She was a writer-producer on the NBC comedy series "My Name Is Earl" and a writer on the WB Network series "Blue Collar TV. »

According to the Hollywood Reporter, we just discovered that Jamie Foxx has teamed up with comedic actor Affion Crockett for a new urban-flavored sketch-comedy show, which will air on the Fox network.

Fox has ordered a pilot for an untitled project executive produced by Foxx and fellow "In Living Color" scribes, "MadTV" creators Fax Bahr and Adam Small, with "Wild 'N Out" alum Crockett attached.

According to the report, the pilot is the result of merging two projects. Foxx was looking to do a sketch-comedy series with an urban twist and paired with Bahr and Small to pitch the idea to Fox.

Separately, Sony TV-based Tantamount was working on a sketch-comedy project starring Crockett, probably best known for his spoofs of Russell Simmons, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Drake and Jay-z. Almost two decades after his breakout stint on "In Living Color," Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is back at Fox with another urban-flavored sketch-comedy show.

The network has ordered a pilot for an untitled project executive produced by Foxx and fellow "Color" scribes, "MadTV" creators Fax Bahr and Adam Small, with "Wild 'N Out" alum Affion Crockett attached as one of the stars.
