Painful!!
21 March 2005 | by (New Zealand) – See all my reviews

Siouxsie Sioux proved she can't really sing in tune live in Nocturne (where she was flat the whole way through). Unfortunately, 15-odd years down the track her range seems more restricted and she struggles up towards the notes from underneath without really getting there - it's really quite painful to listen to unless you are also tone deaf.

The first song is atrocious with Severin, the guitarist and Sioux playing, seemingly, in a different key and tempo the whole way through

  • surely with their back catalog they could find something better than

that.

Don't get me wrong, I do like their earlier music but, unfortunately the glory days when John McGeoch (RIP) was a member are a distant memory. I'll stick to listening to Juju myself.
