Roméo & Juliette

This does not have Leonardo Dicaprio in it. It is a French musical filmed for TV a few years ago. This music, dancing, and drama are first rate. It is available on DVD. The deluxe version has English subtitles for non-French speaking people.

If you like musicals you're surely too enjoy this fantastic production. It has been translated to various languages. There was an attempt to do it in English but it run only a short while in the UK. It was a sad attempt at such a brilliant musical. There are no plans for an English re-write which is unfortunate. I would really like to see an attempt made but than's life.

Still I highly recommend it with subtitles.
