Like some form of torture

One of the most long-winded, boring, pretentious piles of excrement I have ever seen. It doesn't know whether it is a drama, a martial arts fantasy or political diatribe. In a sense, it is all three, and it does all three very badly.

The star and co-director Dale Reeves plays a philosophy-spewing bouncer who fights, espouses tired, convoluted streams of consciousness and thinks he is a new age superhero of some type.

It's impossible to summarize NIGHTCLUBBER because it is so badly directed, makes no sense, and should have been a fifteen minute short (if it has to exist at all).

What director/star Reeves clearly doesn't grasp is that to make a good movie you need a solid screenplay written by a writer who has written solid screenplays. This turkey has no structure, laughable dialogue and scenes that drag themselves out to the point of exhaustion.

It is an absolute trial to sit through and, hopefully, I'll never have to endure it again.

Some of the night photography (on video) is passable, but, ultimately, this rotten Aussie low budgeter is like some form of torture.

Reeves, as an actor, should confine himself to playing slabs of concrete.
