Conclusion with a nice tone
A bit wistful but definitely upbeat, aptly titled "Goodbye" concludes Toni English's fine Adult series about four ladies in L.A. sharing their feelings and sexual escapades.
Two of the foursome are leaving town: Nina Hartley as Lindsey getting a new radio talk show in NYC and Asia Carrera as Tori heading for a new job in Frisco. This final episode includes the resolution of a conflict between Tori and Annie (played by Dee), stemming from Dee bedding down with Tori's ex Justin (Randy Spears -not present in the final installment).
Fourth gal in the group, Keri Windsor as Monica gets to pick up a young (and fresh to the U.S. from France) Manuel Ferrara at a party, and guest star Dru Berrymore does a nice job as Dee's friend.
Final wrapup stresses the solidarity of the star foursome, giving the show a definite up-with-women positivity. One very nice and unexpected touch in the screenplay by Toni English and Raven Touchstone has sexual advice radio host Hartley as Lindsey bringing an edge to her on-air conversation, criticizing the very nature of advice counseling as well as the self-pity exhibited by her listeners.
