CANNES -- French producer CALT, which has made a specialty of short-format comedy shows, is touting its latest hit Kaamelott at MIPTV, with ambitious plans for 700 television episodes, two specials and a trilogy of theatrical movies for the property. The show ran to 700 episodes on Gallic commercial channel M6, sold to 25 countries, shifted 2 million videos and was recently spun off into a movie, Espace detente, which garnered nearly 2 million admissions in France this year. »
