Storyline

Charlie Henshaw is a lowlife salesman and generally shady character. Faced with the unlikely task of having to sell a job lot of stolen fire extinguishers, he decides to recruit some help. When the mysterious Ella and innocent Tony sign up, we have the unlikely beginning of a road movie with a difference. Crammed into Henshaw's car with their improbable merchandise, they head west across Ireland. We slowly discover that each of them is traveling for a very different reason. Each has a secret and a past that seem destined to catch up with them by the end of the trip. By turns comic and tragic, Hard Shoulder takes you along on a journey across Ireland with a delightfully uncertain ending. Written by Anonymous
