Scraping the barrel
17 June 2004 | by (England) – See all my reviews

This is a cheap and rather tacky late-night game show in which various B-list celebrities have to draw their interpretation of a famous phrase, band name, movie title or whatever on a large sketchpad and their fellow team members have to guess what it is. It's like a low-budget version of Catchphrase, only a lot less fun. A better title for this show would be 'You May Be Famous, But You Can't Draw, Can You!'. The only bright spot is the always-endearing Liza Tarbuck who makes a good hostess and doesn't take it too seriously, and occasional appearances by the gorgeous and busty comedienne Karen Taylor. Other than that, it's strictly for the post-pub crowd, and a worrying sign of falling standards at ITV.
