This movie, a film by Ted Roach, was made a few years ago as a Student film. I had the pleasure of seeing this film when it came out, and was taken back by the movie as a whole. Production is first rate, and it has a good screenplay, which is a modern day variation on the tale of Don Quixote. It revolves around the relationship between TJ, and his Teacher, Don La Mancha. Bigotry is not only the Norm in the small border town where they live, but it is the Law. Ranchers are rounding up immigrants, and detaining them in illegal jails against their wills. Only one man stands up for the rights of these people coming to America to start a better life. You guessed it: Don La Mancha. There are extremely good performances for Alex Black (TJ) and Pedro Shanahan (Don La Mancha). I highly recommended movie, not only for entertainment value, but for teaching us good values, and reminding us about why America was founded. The music is excellent also.
