Two British cops fight over the last remaining bullet proof vest.
30 June 2006 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Caught this at the NYC film festival. Great Brit humour, and the ending, while not unpredictable, was certainly handled well. Great actor in the tall skinny cop, very funny guy! As a producer I go to lots of film festivals to watch shorts, and one of the hardest things for new film makers to do well in a short film is comedy, but these guys pull it off with aplomb without going for obvious gags. There are some nice scenes, and the two leads (especially aforementioned tall guy) could be worth keeping an eye out for. Director AD Clark has done a great job catching the British tradition of Python and this film seems to pay homage to that influence. Shame I couldn't find any more of his work on here. Billy Shaye
