I saw this extraordinary short film, a micro (9 minutes) really, if that is a word, outdoors just after a rainshower sitting on wet grass. A local township had put on a 1 night festival of award winning short films and we drove 45 minutes to see it. Most were boring but then Sunlight started. Eerie music which I discovered later was by Dead Can Dance, futuristic puppets (did I mention it's a puppet movie?) and a plot that after buying a copy (not easy) and watching a dozen times, I still only partly understand. SEE IT IF YOU CAN! From the incredible lifelike emotionality of these puppets to the wonderful humanistic tone of the thing, this is a winner.
