Farmer Al Falfa goes into the junk business. So do Henry the Cat and the mouse. When they find magnet and realize they can use it to attract all of Al Falfa's junk, they have a field day in this silent cartoon.
Once upon a time, boys and girls and others, junk men would come by and take away your unwanted stuff and pay you for the privilege. It still happens today, although they usually deal on a larger, more commercial level, with junked cars (which can be used for recycling steel and spare parts). It wasn't a matter of saving the planet. It costs a lot to turn out steel, and more for, say, an automobile bumper made of that material. It was a profitable business for the canny junk man.
Manny Davis gets the credit for directing this particular cartoon. He would leave with Terry to become a partner in Terrytoons a couple of years later.
