Saw at the NY Festival
I still can't believe this was a first-time film-maker. The story writing was okay but the direction was infallible. I really enjoyed the thief falling through the window and the old man was a very good actor with the strangest accent. Couldn't tell if either men were Welsh or English. Bizarre. Greatest little short I have seen in a long time with a dark mood of intelligent caliber. I have seen the future of sci-fi horror film-making.
The dialog at times was too convenient or felt set up but i guess in short films you'd expect that. Wish this film were longer and is available on DVD. Like to see more from this director!
