It is suggested a young couple have just had sex. They are seen in various states of undress (though there is no nudity) and there is some very mild references to their activity.

A young man and woman kiss briefly.

A woman is murdered, and her body is briefly shown. There is frequent talk about murder and its motives.

Some adult drinking and smoking, but not to excess.

Several scenes that revolve around a woman being suspected for murder are intense. One scene that features a Poirot nightmare (a dead woman's face smiles and then dissolves into a skull) is quite alarming.

The film contains some suicide references.
