Inside the film, in the streets of New York, there is a poster on a wall for the film: The "Nomi Song" directed by Andrew Horn . It's was just a way to mention that Nick Peterson, the film director lived in New York's St Marks Place when he was young and he was also Klaus Nomi's neighbor.
