Storyline

The 2004 edition of the annual Bodil Awards gave first honors for best Danish film to Lars von Trier's Dogville (2003) while the four acting awards were shared by The Inheritance (2003) and Move Me (2003). The show, hosted by entertainer Michael Carøe and broadcast on a three-hour delay, also saw internationally acclaimed cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle take home a diploma for his work, while director Anders Refn received the honorary award.
