Most Popular Show in India, says Miss India Tanushree Dutta
When Tanushree Dutta, Miss India, was asked for the most popular show in India at the Miss Universe 2004 competition in Ecuador, she answered with Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. Surprisingly, this may be true. Sony Entertainment Television Asia reports that more viewers tune in around 9:00 PM, when shows like Kkusum and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin are broadcast worldwide. Since Sony Entertainment Television Asia's popularity is growing in Europe and the United States, Sony plans to release a second channel, Sony Max, in early 2005. DISH Network's South Asian Mega Pack already includes 5 channels: Zee TV, TV Asia, Sony Entertainment Television Asia, B4U, and Zee Cinema.
