‘Sin City 2' Ad Rejected by ABC Because Eva Green's Too Sexy

7 hours ago | The Wrap | See recent The Wrap news »

Eva Green is apparently too hot for ABC. The network has rejected an ad for the upcoming Robert Rodriguez film “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,” because of two scenes in which the “Penny Dreadful” actress appears to be naked, a spokesperson for Dimension Films, the movie's distributor, told TheWrap on Tuesday. Dimension is appealing the network's decision not to run the ad, the spokesperson added. Afs Hosts 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' Premiere

10 hours ago | Slackerwood | See recent Slackerwood news »

Last week, Austin filmmaker Robert Rodriguez was at San Diego Comic-Con, promoting his latest movie Sin City: A Dame to Kill For with panels and parties -- even walking the convention floor in costume.

This week, the Austin Film Society has announced it will host the Texas premiere of the Sin City sequel, which will take place Wednesday, August 20 at the Paramount Theatre. The screening will be in 3D -- how many chances have you had to watch a 3D movie downtown at the Paramount?

Tickets are on sale now only for Afs members, who have until August 5 to buy tickets at a discounted rate -- as low as $20 for the balcony. On August 6, general-public tickets go on sale with no Afs member discount. Tickets include admission to an afterparty at the Rattle Inn.

When you own a network, you can pretty much do whatever you want. Robert Rodriguez is clearly taking advantage of that fact on his El Rey Network. “The Director's Chair” is an hour-long intimate conversation between Rodriguez (“Sin City”) and another top director, which has the two sitting in chairs and talking about directing, obviously. In the below clip, exclusive to TheWrap, Rodriguez welcomes Guillermo del Toro (“Pacific Rim”) to the program, with a little assist from Francis Ford Coppola (“The Godfather”). Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For Gets A Brand Red-Band New Trailer

12 hours ago | ShockYa | See recent ShockYa news »

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” has been in the making since the success of the original “Sin City” movie in 2005. The sequel has Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller directing the film adaptation with an upcoming release this August. I was a big fan of the first movie as an exercise in comic book filmmaking, its sequel should be a welcomed follow up. With 9 year in between movies, maybe Rodriquez and Miller will give audiences something worth waiting for. The sequel film has the same “vignette” structure as the first movie. “A Dame to Kill For” Dwight McCarthy (Josh Brolin) is summoned by his former lover, Ava  [ Read More ]

French starlet Eva Green – fresh off her appearance in Robert Rodriguez’ latest Sin City chapter – is currently in talks to reunite with her Dark Shadows director Tim Burton for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. The movie – which is an adaptation of Ransom Riggs’ debut novel – tells the story of Jacob, a young boy who following a horrific family tragedy follows clues that take him to an abandoned orphanage on a Welsh island, where he must protect a group of orphans with intriguing powers.

The book – originally published in June 2011 – has been listed on the New York Times bestseller list. Eva Green is set to play the titular role, who is somewhat of a guardian to the orphans in their struggle against strange creatures hell bent on destroying them.

Jessica Alba Talks Reveals the Secret to her Fit Body

Jessica Alba has a flawless body.

The 33-year-old star is reprising her iconic Sin City role as super-toned Nancy Callahan for the franchises' latest installment Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. And with that killer bod comes a serious commitment to dieting and exercise, but that doesn't mean she can't cave in to the occasional indulgence.

"I don't indulge too much," Alba admitted to E! News exclusively at Comic-Con. "I mean, I love desserts and stuff, but I don't think that's very sinful."

"I love nachos so much!" she admitted. "And tequila." Yum. We'd say nachos and tequila sounds like a pretty amazing cheat day. Or just any day.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has released a new red-band trailer online, demonstrating just how little has changed in the moral cess-pool from which the film takes its name… In terms of plot, the new trailer establishes Powers Booth’s crooked senator as the big bad of the piece, before hurtling off into an orgy of severed limbs, push-up bras and badass one-liners. Eva Green looks more than likely to steal the show here as Sin City’s latest femme fatale, while there’s also a first look at Lady Gaga, seen here helping Joseph...

5 Reasons Gotham Needs to Be on Your Fall Must-See List

28 July 2014 3:54 PM, PDT | BuzzSugar | See recent BuzzSugar news »

Gotham is one of Fox's most buzzed-about new shows debuting this Fall, and for good reason. I saw the first episode of the Batman-inspired series, and there's a lot to love. The show revolves around James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as a young detective working his way up the ranks in Gotham. We meet him right as he and his partner Harvey (Donal Logue) take on the murder of one Bruce Wayne's (David Mazouz) parents. The series premieres on Sept. 22, and if you like what you read below, you should definitely check out the trailer. It starts out with a bang . . . literally. Let's be clear about one thing: Gotham isn't the story of Batman. It's the story of James Gordon attempting to clean up the crime-ridden streets of Gotham before a superhero rises up to clear the scum away, and Gordon's story begins with the death of young Bruce's parents. I'm not giving much away here, »

To celebrate, we’ve got the brand new red-band trailer from Comic-Con for your viewing pleasure.
