This short guerilla film deals with the embargo of Cuba in a very different way... by talking to some of the young men who live there as they undress and satisfy themselves.
With interstertials talking about the embargo the film makes the point that while it is illegal for US Citizens to travel to Cuba it IS legal for them to visit Communist China.
The film maker questions the reasoning behind that but rather than show the typical tropical paradise scenes this film maker works mostly in his hotel room with young men who are willing for a price to show a tourist some of the islands lesser known charms.
Seems that the scarcity of US currency makes it very valuable in this island and that enterprising young men are willing to work for it at incredibly low wages.
Yes, this is subversive and well worth the five or six minutes that it takes to see the film.
