Meet the resistance in the latest Far Cry 5 trailer

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the upcoming Far Cry 5 showcasing the assortment of characters that form the resistance freeing themselves and the people of Hope County from the violent cult known as The Project at Eden’s Gate. Far Cry 5 is set for release on the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on the 27th March 2018. Watch the resistance trailer below…

The location for Far Cry 5 takes players away from the lawless countries of the third world and as far away from a woolly mammoth as it’s possible to be. For the first time in the franchise players will be fighting against the enemy in a remote region of the good ol’ USA. Hope County, Montana was a peaceful American community until Joseph Seed and his sinister cult arrived and took over.

Hope County is Getting BatS**t Crazy in the New Far Cry 5 Trailer

  • Cinelinx
Ubisoft has just released a new trailer explaining things from resistance's point of view and how they intend to liberate the small town.  It's gonna get messy!

Far Cry 5 will put you in the body of the new junior deputy of Hope County, Montana.  That appointed goes sour quick when a fanatical cult, called the Project at Eden's Gate, takes over the once-quiet area, turning it into an explosive, bloody nightmare.  It's up to you and the residents of Hope County to form the resistance and take out the cultists.  Suffice to say, home values in that area are going to plummet after both parties sweep through.

Check out what the resistance plans are to take out the cultists:

The original release date was in February 2018, but Ubisoft made changes to their release schedule, recently.  Thankfully, Far Cry 5's delay was only by a month.  Far Cry 5 will now release March 27, 2018 on PlayStation® 4 Pro,

Ubisoft Delays Several Notable Titles Including Far Cry 5

  • Cinelinx
Ubisoft is about to test the patience of a lot of gamers as they've announced that they will be delaying several Aaa titles. More within.

When Ubisoft decided to stop Assassin's Creed: Origins from coming out a year too early, it unknowingly set a precedence that Ubisoft would be following in the future. Patience is a Virtue. Today, Ubisoft announced that several big name titles would be pushed back in the name of development and not deadlines.

Christine Burgess-Quémard, Ubisoft’s Worldwide Studios Executive Director, said, “This decision is in line with our strategic vision of developing even more engaging and higher quality experiences for gamers. Taking more time with Assassin’s Creed Origins enabled our talented development team to fully express their creative vision. As expected, this had a very positive impact on the game’s quality and largely participated to its commercial success. Taking a similar approach,

Top video games that celebrate ancient Egypt

Seeing as ancient Egyptian culture first flourished around 4,000 years ago, it might be surprising to find that many top gaming titles have paid homage to this iconic historical period. Whilst it might not be going as far back in time as Far Cry: Primal, it shows what a fertile time this is for giving games designers plenty of inspiration for all manner of gaming adventures that range from first-person shooters to online slots titles.

Tomb Raider

As those monumental pyramids house the tombs of some of Egypt’s most illustrious monarchs, it’s not surprising to find that the Tomb Raider games would be quick to explore this ancient civilisation. The first Tomb Raider game saw Lara Croft battling all manner of weird mutants in Egypt. And whilst it not be strictly historically accurate, it was such a success that the intrepid explorer has made many repeated visits to Egypt with Cairo,

Overgrowth Review

Overgrowth is something of an indie Daikatana. It is, of course, a better game than Daikatana, and thankfully never sold itself with the threat of one-sided sexual gratification, but “hubris” is still the word that most springs to mind when I think of it. It’s a self-proclaimed “absurdly ambitious” title that’s been in development for nearly a decade with practically nothing to show for it. In fact, if I didn’t know what a massive undertaking programming a game engine is, I’d assume this was a rush job. It’s technically spotty, presented in a bland and disjointed manner, and actually removes more features from its predecessor Lugaru than it adds.

Both games are surprisingly dark Watership Down-as-martial arts titles ,featuring context-sensitive combat based on timing and movement, stealth elements, two damage types that affect the player differently, and the ability to launch yourself off walls and enemies with powerful jumps.
