It is both fresh and amusing

This offering hardly did itself justice, for it was interrupted for a few feet by a portion of an old picture; but we can safely commend it, from what we have seen, as a good offering. It is both fresh and amusing. It opens with a pretty scene in which we find a famous dancer (Ruth Hennessy) giving her farewell performance. We look through the wings to the stage. Clarence Inbad (John Steppling) appears and tries to meet the famous actress. The scene shifts to a cheap restaurant where the actress, in search of local color, has taken a job and Clarence comes in for luncheon. The outcome skillfully shows the quality of Clarence's admiration for the actress; for the clever woman makes him the butt of a practical joke that shows him up. - The Moving Picture World, June 28, 1913
