As a Scot myself, I find it kind of annoying that he's sold out and moved to the US, but each to their own I guess. When I was a student in Scotland in the late 80's/early 90's he was a bit of a cult figure (along with his comedian sister Lynn), mainly thanks to his "Bing Hitler" character. His stand-up was always much funnier than his TV shows, though; The Craig Ferguson Show was a pretty watered down version of his act, and it showed.
