This film is a must for the Penn and Teller hardcore fans. Instead of taking a traditional documentary E! style, Penn and Teller decide to take us through a backwoods scenic view of those countries and sample the magic culture through a different light add magic and dry comedy.
If you have a slight interest in the rope trick, Chinese acrobatics, snake swallowing it may be worth a little patience to watch this film. This is definitely a sleeper watching Penn and Teller travel around India, China, and Egypt taking in all the local magic they could muster from the streets to the clubs and museums. Penn and Teller interact with the people and the magicians, discuss and compare the different types of magic.
