Happily married man Clive Owen meets sexy businesswoman Jennifer Aniston on a commuter train and, under the pressure of home life crises, snuggles up to her for an affair that explodes into violence and blackmail before it even begins. Vincent Cassel is the brutal crook who bursts in on the one night stand and turns Owen's life upside down. You may see the twists coming, despite the narrative sleight-of-hand, but it makes for a gritty little thriller regardless.
