Bolt's pigeons are a direct copy of Animaniacs' Goodfeathers (one of them is also named Bobby, and the name Joey refers to Joe Pesci, like Pesto does)

When Bolt threatens to drop Mittens from the overpass unless she tells him where Penny is, the bus from Speed (1994) (with 2525 on the roof) passes underneath.
The Truman Show (1998)
Keeping Bolt ignorant of the fact that everything is fake.
Galaxy Quest (1999)
When Rhino leaves the trailer park with Bolt and Mittens, he says "larak tarath".
Finding Nemo (2003)
