The sides of a woman's bare breasts can be seen when she takes off her top. We can also see she's wearing fairly skimpy panties.

For a PG-13 film, The Skeleton Key is very vicious and violent, more so than such other modern PG-13 ghost films as "The Apparition" or "The Eye"

People are beaten, thrown around, slammed into things, and choked. Bones are broken, but most of this happens with minimal blood.

We hear about a man abusing "his help."

People are shown drinking alcohol in a few bar scenes, and we see people drinking alcohol at a party. A woman drinks tea that has been drugged, and a woman says that she is giving a man a prescription medicine to help with his ailments. A woman smokes cigarettes in several scenes and she says that she smokes a lot and enjoys it.


Some of the scenes mentioned in the Violence/Gore section may be frightening/intense for viewers.

The end of the film is very scary, and unexpected. It is upsetting.
