Dennis Miller was funny in the 1980s. I saw him live in the early 1990s. He was funny, brilliant, cutting edge, and conservative. Somewhere during the 1990s he just became another Rush Limbaugh clone. Like Rush, he tosses in the so-called jokes and humor. Like Rush, Dennis Miller's humor is really funny if you are ultra right wing. Otherwise is it hit and miss. Mostly it was missing the times I saw this last incarnation of the Dennis Miller Show. Being on a network where he probably had to deal with censorship probably did not help him as a comedian.
If you want to see Dennis Miller when he was funny, check out his HBO Specials from the early 1990s.
