Kylie Minogue has recorded a Christmas duet with James Corden. The 47-year-old singer asked the comedian-and-actor, 37, to feature on her forthcoming festive album, and the impressive collaboration has gone down so well with label bosses that the catchy track is tipped to be the lead single. A source told The Sun newspaper: ''James recorded the track in secret with Kylie after she asked him to feature.'' The insider added: ''It was meant to be the jokey song on the album but producers were so impressed there's a strong chance it's going to be the lead single. James is a very good singer and the song is actually a great listen.'' The collaboration with Kylie, with whom he co-hosted the Brit Awards in 2009, comes just a year after James admitted he'd like to record his own Christmas collection one day. He said previously about a festive album: ''Almost for »
Doctor Who returns to our screens in a little over a month - and you can read our 100% accurate guide to the new series right here.
But while it's always useful to have the facts, it's also great fun to indulge in some wild speculation - and Doctor Who has generated plenty of that over the years.

Kylie Minogue has surprised fans with a brand new song, which is out there right now for you to stream.
The singer has recorded snappy-titled track 'Absolutely Anything and Anything At All' as the theme song for upcoming movie Absolutely Anything.
It's an inoffensive, clap-along bop that is sure to sit nicely with the family film it was recorded for. It is not, however, what we'd call a 'classic Kylie' banger.
That said, it also comes with a video which sees her performing the track for aliens, while covered in star dust.
"Growing up in Australia, Monty Python thrilled, baffled and entertained my entire family," said Kylie. "I'm such a fan. So, to record the theme song for (Python) Terry Jones's Absolutely Anything was a great honour. »
Kylie Minogue thinks it's ''astounding'' that she's still modeling lingerie at the age of 47. The 'Spinning Around' hitmaker became a brand ambassador for underwear range Sloggi last September and is happy she can take on the role at her age. She said: ''It's kind of astounding I'm still doing lingerie shoots but it's happening and I'm not forcing it. I'm just going with the flow. ''For me it's just about taste. There's a certain way to do things, I hope I get it right more often than I get it wrong.'' The 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' singer added that she sees a ''common ground'' between her and 56-year-old pop icon Madonna. Kylie said: ''There's common ground for myself and Madonna there. I don't even take notice of how old my friends are. It's a sign of the times that age isn't that relevant. It's certainly not to me or my generation. »
Kylie Minogue is recording a Christmas album. The 47-year-old star is believed to be halfway through making the LP, which will be her 13th studio album, set to be released on a one-album deal through Warner/Parlophone. A source revealed: ''Kylie is halfway through recording it. It's believed all the tracks will be disco-influenced.'' The 'I Should Be So Lucky' hitmaker - whose last album 'Kiss Me Once' performed poorly when released last year - recently parted ways with her record label Parlophone following a partnership of over 15 years but is hoping she can return to the charts with her latest collection, which will feature a variety of covers and original tunes. The source told The Sun newspaper: ''It's likely the album will include a mixture of festive classics and even some original material. ''She wants to take her time on a new release but can't be away from the charts for long, »
Chris Martin was arm-in-arm with Kylie Minogue -- at 1:30 Am in a London park -- which may or may not be news to his Gf of several months. Kylie Minogue is definitely not shy! The pop star took to Instagram on Thursday to share an intimate snap as she relaxed in her Los Angeles home. "Sneak peak behind the scenes .... photo shoot," she captioned the sexy snap. Clad in just a cardigan, blue lingerie and knee high boots, the 46-year-old (yes 46!) showed off her amazing body while sitting in front of her large window that overlooks the Hollywood Hills. A lot of people were pretty annoyed with Stars in Their Eyes when it returned this weekend.
Many had no doubt tuned in expecting Hill to emerge from the dry ice and sliding doors with a carbon copy of Kelly's (and Cat and Leslie's) version of the show, and so were left bitterly disappointed. We, meanwhile, were over the moon.
Harry Hill's Stars in Their Eyes was, shock horror, actually something different. The show was still about plucky members of the public wanting to emulate their musical heroes, but that's where the similarities ended.
Viewers who have never 'got' Harry Hill had tuned in lured by the promise of an ITV classic, and yet were smacked in the face with Hill's surreal mockery of what a singing competition is. »
