Hidden Failures
21 November 2004 | by ('s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands) – See all my reviews

After a while I noticed the movie couldn't convince me. Hidden failures,... aha. Was it the bad casting, thus acting of the children? Was it the story? The location, I believe it was Scotland, was beautiful though. I haven't read the book so that's why I can't decide whether the story or the movie is bad. The way the movie is made is kind of flat, one dimensional. In the beginning there's no way to get involved in the story and as the movie continues it doesn't give any possibilities to make that up.

If you don't like goosebumps or hate being shocked or seriously moved, go see this movie.

Because a 6 was to high I wanted to give it a 5.6 but that's not possible. Therefor a 5.
