Storyline

"Home Beyond the Sun" is the story of despair and hope, deceit and compassion, depression and renewal. It follows the adventures of a young Christian woman seeking to repay her mentor for his affection and his guidance. She demonstrates the depth of her commitment to the ministry by displaying the same gifts of generosity of spirit and passionate belief when she shares them with a young orphaned girl caught in the web of need and depression. This history of mankinds most vulnerable becomes memorable through the gift of faith. It is both an everlasting lesson and an enduring testament to Faith in God. Written by Anonymous

Excellent movie
15 August 2013 | by See all my reviews

I absolutely appreciate a film being made with so much truth in it. This film's depiction has so much quality of the truth as I know it. I adopted a special needs child from China and have traveled on a short term missions trip there and have hosted Chinese exchange students. I know not every Provence has such watch on foreigners but I do know some do. I especially like the fact Mei Ming said about how some handicapped kids and mental need kids are killed. I love the Chinese people but pray for the Chinese government. The adoption processes takes A long time and I know it would be almost impossible to pick the child you want To adopt from the China side. The end is far fetched for a true story but I also Know of two Chinese girls that live in America got a genetic test and the were sisters.
