Fuuny typically French Romcom

I decided to give film a chance whilst on a recent Air France flight. I found it to be very character driven and by the end you feel sorry for each of the 3 people involved.

The plot tells of the ex wife who come back out of the blue to find her husband after 6 years. He is now in another relationship but he does not have the heart to kick out his ex-wife who is clearly very mentally fragile and pregnant. Her mental state is not helped by her "doctor" who is a very funny transvestite who seems to help all the mental cases in Paris.

As the film pans out you begin to see a change of focus from the husband who re-values his current life and wonders if he might be better off with his ex and her simple values. However as you will see sometimes this may not be the best course of action to take.

This film has genially funny moments and is a refreshing change to transitional Rom-Com films
